Terms & Conditions
By enrolling in our courses, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, which govern your access to and use of our educational services. The TEFL Uni is a dedicated online training provider offering self-paced courses designed to support candidates in successfully achieving their professional teaching goals.
1. Course Access and Enrolment Timeline
Course Access: Candidates are allocated a standard period of 120 days from their official registration date to complete all modules and assessments within their chosen course.
Expiration Policy: A failure to complete the programme within this designated 120-day timeframe does not entitle the candidate to a refund.
Course Extensions: Should you require additional time to complete your studies, formal extensions may be purchased. Detailed information regarding extension fees can be found at tefluni.com/extensions.
Important Extension Deadline: Extensions must be actively secured prior to the official course expiration date. While our technical team will make every reasonable effort to restore previous coursework for expired accounts, we cannot guarantee that your learning progress will be retained unless an extension is purchased punctually.
2. Fees, Payments, and Financial Policy
Non-Refundable Policy: All fees are strictly non-refundable once a course purchase has been finalised.
Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the immediate point of enrolment. Please note that The TEFL Uni does not offer instalment plans, deferred payment schemes, or recurring financing options.
3. Award and Certificate Issuance
Digital Certificates: Upon the successful completion of your programme and all corresponding assessments, a digital (soft) copy of your certificate will be issued via email within one business day.
Printed Certificates: Professionally printed hard copies of your qualification are available for separate purchase and will be dispatched directly to the postal address provided at the time of order.
4. Intellectual Property and Usage Restrictions
The TEFL Uni retains full, exclusive intellectual property rights over all educational materials provided throughout the programme, including but not limited to academic quizzes, text modules, and supplementary resources.
Prohibited Actions: Students are strictly prohibited from sharing, reproducing, distributing, publishing, or modifying any element of the course content without receiving prior explicit written consent from the institution.
Enforcement: Any unauthorised use or distribution of our proprietary learning materials will result in the immediate termination of course access without eligibility for a refund, and may subject the individual to formal legal action.
5. Academic Misconduct and Termination
Maintaining high academic standards is fundamental to our institution. Any form of misconduct—including but not limited to cheating, plagiarism, or any behaviour that brings the reputation of The TEFL Uni into disrepute—will result in the immediate cancellation of your enrolment without a refund.
Please Note: The institution reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrolment or invalidate a qualification either during the course or retroactively after completion, should verified evidence of academic misconduct come to light.
6. Technical Support and Platform Maintenance
The TEFL Uni conducts regular system maintenance and updates on its digital learning platform to optimise security, stability, and the overall student experience.
System Downtime: Wherever feasible, scheduled platform maintenance will be communicated to students well in advance. However, occasional temporary downtime resulting from essential maintenance or unforeseen technical issues does not constitute valid grounds for a financial refund.
Student Responsibility: It remains the sole responsibility of the student to ensure they have access to a reliable internet connection and a compatible digital device to access and complete their coursework.
7. Queries, Complaints, and Resolution Process
We are committed to addressing student concerns fairly and efficiently. Any formal complaints or academic issues should be directed via email to info@tefluni.com. A designated course instructor will review your case and provide a formal response within five business days.
8. Liability Disclaimer
External Disruptions: The TEFL Uni shall not be held liable for any delays, interruptions, or operational failures caused by external factors beyond our direct control, including but not limited to local internet service provider outages, hardware malfunctions, or user-end technical errors.
Limitation of Liability: In the event of an unresolved dispute, the maximum legal liability of the institution is strictly capped at the exact course fee paid by the student at the time of enrolment.
9. Additional Provisions and Acknowledgements
Policy Amendments: These Terms and Conditions are subject to revision and updates without prior notice. By continuing to access the learning platform, students tacitly agree to abide by the most current version of these guidelines.
Final Declaration: By finalising your enrolment with The TEFL Uni, you formally acknowledge that you have thoroughly read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these terms.
